Podini Foundation's first charity activities date back to the 1970's in India, where Isabella and Giancarlo Podini took an active part in the realization of a leper colony.
Later on, in 2010, the Podini Family decided to form the Podini Foundation in order to establish a proper organization and to manage their social and charity activities with a more structured approach. From this moment on the Podini Foundation has been concentrating its humanitarian efforts in various countries worldwide, focusing on Africa, on Southeast Asia, and recently on South Tyrol - their home region - as well.
